Attorney MacNamara handles all aspects of matrimonial and family law matters, including cases which involve significant assets, executive compensation, child custody issues, and substance abuse/mental health issues. She has worked exclusively in the area of family and matrimonial law since 2009 and has extensive experience litigating, settling, and mediating cases.
Preparation, effective communication, persistence and practicality are the cornerstones of Attorney MacNamara’s practice. She takes a firm yet compassionate approach to the field of family law, and works diligently to understand the individual issues raised in each case.
Attorney MacNamara received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Fordham University at Lincoln Center where she double majored in Classics and History with a minor in World Religions. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she earned an Academic Concentration, with honors, in Family and Juvenile Law. She is certified to act as Guardian ad Litem and Attorney for Minor Children, and has completed intensive training at the prestigious Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute.
Attorney MacNamara frequently lectures and presents on the field of family law. She currently serves as the Chair of the statewide Family Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. She has also served as co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association since 2012.
Attorney Kevin J. Daken has broad experience representing clients in all areas of family and matrimonial law, including divorce, child custody and parental access, post-judgment enforcement and modifications, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. He has worked exclusively in the area of family and matrimonial law since 2011, and in that time, has handled cases involving wide-ranging issues including the division of substantial and complex assets, the effect of executive compensation structures on alimony and child support, disputed business and real estate valuations, and contentious custodial disputes.
